Dippidee Desserts

Every time I go to American Fork, UT, I want to stop in to Dippidee, but I always say I'll do it next time. Now I wish I'd stopped by sooner! They call themselves a "place of sweet surprises," and I would agree, as I was pleasantly surprised when I saw their creations. It was hard to decide which desserts to try, but I ended up getting the white chocolate and raspberry lemonade cupcakes. I am a white chocolate and strawberry/raspberry lemonade fanatic. The raspberry lemonade cupcake was amazing!!! I'm afraid I'll be buying it every time I'm in the area. I LOVED the frosting and the raspberry cream filling. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
The white chocolate frosting with caramel drizzled on it was excellent.

My favorite was their cakes that looked like cupcakes (seen in this pic on the bottom shelf)! They cut the top off and put a filling beneath it and frosted the top.

  2. I posted a link to your blog for the cupcake pancakes - which were incredible!!! I thank you and so does your dad...and that's a huge compliment because, as you know, he hates everything! xo, Mom

  3. Have you actually made cupcakes using the nut cups? I assume you would use the larger size. How do you find removing the paper from the cupcake. Do you know if there are any directions for this method. They all look so yummy!

  4. I haven't used the cups yet, but these cupcakes I bought make me want to try it! I'll post my experience soon! The ones I bought used the larger size cups and we didn't remove the paper because we were too busy digging in with a fork! It seems it may have been stuck a little to the side...but I'll do a test. Thanks for your comments!

  5. I love Dippidee. I can't wait to try the rasp. lemonade!

I've used the nut/souflee cups before and love them. I spray them and make sure to put a silpat or parchment below the cups to help even baking. I bought the cups at gygi in slc.
